Dr. Sam Nechamkin

Why I established the Keep Veterans Smiling non-profit organization and a "Day of Reciprocity" for Texoma Veterans.

I have worked in Sherman since 1999 and built a successful practice that allows me to share my blessings.

Since 2016, Premier Dentistry has set aside the third Tuesday in September to provide free dental treatment for U.S. Military Veterans. It is my way of honoring those who served, in wartime and peacetime, to protect our unique democracy.

Because me and my family have benefited from the opportunities provided by this great nation, it is my desire to use my skills to benefit others. Offering services to Veterans is one way I give back.

Again this year, our staff will dedicate an entire day (the third Tuesday of September) to providing no-cost care for as many Veterans as possible. We will not accept appointments on this day. Typically, we are able to treat as many as 100 Veterans.

Services will be provided on a walk-up, first-come, first-served basis beginning at 8:00am until 3:00 pm. No appointment needed.

Due to the limited time allowed, services will be limited to a choice of cleaning, a filling, or an extraction.

If you are a Veteran needing dental treatment, come early for a place in line. If you know a Veteran who needs treatment and cannot afford it, please share this information.

How you can support the Keep Veterans Smiling Project in Texoma.

Keep Veterans Smiling is a non-profit, charitable, organization that supports free dental care for over 100 Texoma Veterans each year. In addition to the Day of Reciprocity each September, select Veterans who apply may be chosen to receive extensive dental treatment, at no charge.

You can support the organization's work with a donation to the project. If you are an individual, group, or company that would like to give a gift to expand services, please contact us at (903) 868-9850 or click here to learn more.
